So, do you want to be right, or do you want to learn?

Everyone thinks they know how to pedal a bike. But do you? Take the test to find out.

Learning begins when you question what you think you know.

What’s in a name?

The URL name “Learn From An Idiot” is a contradiction derived from a few quotes:

“The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts.” — Burtrand Russell

“Those who can’t do, teach. Those who can’t teach, teach gym.” — Woody Allen

“If a shallow understanding of a subject gives one confidence and a deep understanding gives one doubts, who are our teachers?” — Ed Sassler

I’ve always resisted teaching roles because I think of myself as an idiot (someone with a lot to learn).  Instead I have always been the student - there will always be more to learn.  With that said, our system is broken. We have countless experts, but our skill levels are going the wrong way.

It’s hard to sift through all the information out there. Coaching programs claiming they have produced pro riders, fitters claiming to be experts or “master fitters”.  I chose a title you can trust is true - idiot.
